I also run fun, interactive workshops!

Workshops

I run fun, interactive workshops and give presentations on sustainable development in schools and at other events. The workshops are designed for children aged 7 to 12 but can be adapted for younger groups. The aim is to encourage them to understand the processes, both natural and human, that shape the world we live in and to inspire them to think for themselves about the impact of human actions on the planet.

The workshops aim to explore topics linked to sustainable development in specific subjects, particularly in citizenship, geography, science and design and technology. I can also focus on issues that matter to your school and community in the context of a whole school approach. I have had extensive experience running workshops with both children and teachers in the UK, Europe, Canada, South Africa, Cameroon and Sri Lanka.

Please do contact me if you are interested in a visit. My fees are in line with the guidelines from the Society of Authors.
